Rare Gas Transition Finder (v. 1.4.4)
Instructions:
Use the pulldown menus to select the desired gas, units, and medium (air/vacuum).
Enter a value into the Wavelength box and press the Calculate button (or Return key). The
program will find all dipole-allowed atomic transitions close to your value.
You can change how "close" by editing the value in the "within" box.
Transitions
will be displayed in Paschen's notation for Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe. For example,
the output text 3d1'' represents the 3d1'' level. For
He, the levels are denoted as n(2S+1)L, so that the output
text 3(1)P represents the 31P level.
